How to add an API key to the Tradelize ecosystem

The Tradelize ecosystem opens up endless possibilities for crypto traders. All you need is to add your API to the cryptocurrency trading terminal Tradelize and add an API to the Tradelize investment portal to run statistics and other options of the ecosystem.

Let’s start with the cryptocurrency trading terminal Tradelize

The first method

To add API keys, you need to click "Add" in the main window of the terminal in front of the desired exchange.

After clicking, a window will appear with the selected Exchange (in the "Exchange" field you can choose a different exchange) and you will need to enter your Public and Secret keys.

The second method

Click on the "Settings" icon and go to "My API Keys" menu.

The menu "My API Keys" displays your connected API keys from exchanges. To add a new key, click on the "plus" sign in the upper left corner.

As soon as you press it, a window will appear where you must select the exchange, enter your Public and Secret keys, and press the "Save" button.

Note: On some exchanges, such as OKEX or KRAKEN, you need to enter the security password you have previously set when creating the key, or when setting up additional account security. Please note that this is not an authorization password, but an additional security password for the exchange. If such a password is not set at the exchange, the "PASSWORD" field may be left empty.

Now, let's move on to the Tradelize Investment portal

To add an API key, you should go to the "FUNDS" section and press the «Insert API KEYS» button.

As soon as you press it, a window will appear where you can select an exchange and add keys. After adding a private and public key, click "Create".

On some exchanges, such as OKEX or KRAKEN, you need to enter the security password you have previously set when creating the key, or when setting up additional account security. Please note that this is not an authorization password, but an additional security password for the exchange. If such a password is not set at the exchange, the "PASSWORD" field may be left empty.

Note: If after adding your key it shows a VALID status, it means that you have successfully added it.
If the status is INVALID, it means:

  1. You have entered the incorrect key.
  2. You have set up additional restrictive settings on the Exchange that do not allow you to add a key.

You can add a key only to view your account details on the exchange. You will not have access to trading, but you will be able to share your statistics with other Tradelize users and make your profile more significant.

Important: When creating an API key, do not enable key restriction from a specified IP (IP Whitelist). Since the Tradelize ecosystem uses many servers for maximum security and efficiency, IPs for different exchanges may change at different times.
